I had no idea what to expect from the Bowen sessions but thought I would give it a go.

After having tried different therapies for my frequent migraines and panic attacks, including acupuncture, CBT, etc., I have been hugely impressed by the Bowen approach and the way it tackles root causes and makes sustainable improvements.

I have noticed the positive results physically and mentally after my first session with Toni, the stress levels have reduced and my physical wellbeing improved significantly.

I cannot recommend Toni highly enough and wish I had discovered massage therapy Bowen sooner. The treatment is very gentle and non-invasive and Toni is just like a ray of light, very warm and friendly with great insight and awareness, she is truly a professional! I always felt fully able to discuss any issues in full confidence with Toni. She takes great care to explore what is important for you and adapts her treatments to suit your needs.

I did not need other therapies since Toni has treated me and feel that Bowen massage treats not only the immediate symptoms but the whole self.

I have had Bowen treatment for various health problems. I've an old injury (buttock muscle) which was stopping me from walking well and aching a lot after driving, also lower back, knee and neck pains which have become so much better after therapy. I have also seen Toni for de-stressing after losing my mother. The calmness I feel lasts for quite a while. I would recommend Bowen with Toni, it has truly changed my life and i am once again an outgoing, emotionally strong person. Thank you Toni.

I see Toni at The Essex Bowen Clinic at Upminster Sanctuary once a month and as an active runner, swimmer and cyclist it has helped me stay injury free. I believe keeping the fascia in alignment helps prevent any niggles I might get . after saying all that , it is also very relaxing and I always look forward to the next one ... 5 stars every time from me .

I had been recommended Bowen Therapy for my bad back ad a less harsh treatment than Physio. Toni's treatment was gentle but very effective in treating my bad back pain, as well as very relaxing on the whole body.

Toni is a lovely lady who not only cured my back pain but gave me great advice on posture and showed me exercises to help strengthen my back, and balance my posture. Her treatment has also helped with my achilles heel issue and whole body.

I would recommend Bowen Therapy to anyone as an effective treatment for pain or tension and help realign their body.

Lymphatic drainage treatment...I have been having treatment with Toni since last summer . The improvement in my legs are fantastic!! Review - Child Anxiety

I have been taking my 7 year old son to see Toni for Bowen Therapy for several months now. Toni is fantastic. She is very patient and caring. My son suffers from anxiety, emotional regulation problems, coordination and sensory processing difficulties. The treatment has helped, and my son says it relaxes him. Before going to see Toni he complained of daily stomach aches which has now completely stopped. Toni has also helped with breathing exercises and is very knowledgable.

Review - Child Tourettes Syndrome - April 2017

Last November my 6 year old daughter was diagnosed with Tourette's Syndrome after experiencing numerous vocal tics and multiple motor tics at her neck, shoulders, knees, ankles and arms. It was an extremely distressing time for me and my husband and more so for my daughter, who had peers staring at her and asking her questions.

We were told by the paediatric neurologist that the tics could come and go and would be unpredictable as she reached her teens. We were more concerned that our daughter was hurting herself - creaking her neck, biting her tongue, kicking herself and sometimes falling over.

Having visited the Upminster Sanctuary before for other treatment, Toni the Bowen Therapist was recommended to me for my daughter's tics. She worked with her for several weeks and Toni concentrated on the areas where my daughter's tics were at their worst. My daughter responded really well to the treatment and almost immediately we noticed a difference in our daughter's tics. The vocal tics had already disappeared and with each appointment with Toni, the tics gradually disappeared until after 5-6 sessions they were all gone. There was perhaps the occasional tic which we told Toni about and this would be the area that she focused on during our appointments. We started to make our appointments fortnightly after the initial sessions and now my daughter sees Toni every 6 weeks almost like a 'check up' and a treat because she enjoys it so much!

We cannot thank Toni enough for all that she has done for our daughter. She has always talked to my daughter about her tics and has a lovely way about her which is second to none with small children. I would recommend Bowen Technique with Toni to anyone. She has really got us through a difficult time. Toni is known as 'Terrific Toni' in our house and now all four of us see her on a monthly basis.
